Frequently asked questions
Short answers to what people ask most.
Is Sambit AI free to use?
Yes. You can start chatting straight away without an account, and a free Basic account gives you unlimited chats, saved history and long-term memory. Paid Lite and Pro plans add more context, stronger models and image generation.
Do I need an account to try it?
No. On the web you can send 15 messages as a guest before signing in. If you do sign in, that conversation is carried into your account rather than discarded.
Does Sambit AI remember previous conversations?
Yes. It stores durable personal details you share — your name, work, family, goals and preferences — and uses them in later chats so you are not repeating yourself. Everything it has remembered is visible to you and can be deleted at any time.
Can it search the web?
Yes. When a question needs current information such as news, prices or recent releases, Sambit AI searches the web and cites what it used.
Can it understand images?
Yes. Attach a photo or screenshot and ask about it. Image understanding is available on every plan, including the free one.
Which AI model does it use?
You do not choose a model — your plan does. Each plan maps to a set of models, and if one is unavailable another answers the same question automatically, so you are not left waiting. Sambit AI is built with Llama, alongside Google Gemma and open models from OpenAI and NVIDIA.
Is there a mobile app?
An Android app is available as a direct download. The web app works on any modern phone browser with no installation.
Who built Sambit AI?
It is built by Sambit Shreeram Sahoo, an independent developer based in Bhubaneswar, India.
